Meet Your Teachers

West Chester Dance Expressions is proud to have a friendly and dedicated team of dance teachers. They are passionate about their art and always strive to create a positive and supportive environment for our students. Our teachers inspire our students to reach their full potential and achieve their goals with their expertise and enthusiasm.

Morgan Lind

Morgan began dancing at the age of four at Crane Performing Arts in West Chester, PA, where she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, and musical theater under the direction of Joyce Crane. A dedicated performer, she competed throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, served as captain of the Henderson High School Dance Team, and later danced with the Kutztown University Dance Team. In addition to her dance background, Morgan studied voice for eight years, performing in recitals and local theater productions.

With over fifteen years of teaching experience, Morgan opened WCDE in 2014 as artistic director. Her choreography has earned numerous judge’s awards, including top overalls. And she received her own judge’s award when she competed in Nationals in 2024. Morgan is passionate about fostering a positive, inspiring environment where dancers can grow in confidence, artistry, and love for the performing arts.

Her teaching journey began at WCDE as a teenager when she started student teaching—an experience that sparked a lifelong love for mentoring dancers. Since then, she has continued to share her knowledge, creativity, and passion with dancers of all ages and abilities. Isabella continues to further her dance education by taking classes and attending conferences. She is dedicated to creating an encouraging and inspiring environment where every student can grow, express themselves, and discover their own love for dance.

Becca Cummings

Dance has been the glue connecting her mom, two sisters, and herself for as long as she can remember.  Becca started dancing when she was 3 years old at Touch of Class Dance and she continued performing and choreographing as Captain of the Henderson High School Dance Team. This was then followed by Volé dance club at Penn State University. Her sister Shaina started teaching & choreographing for WCDE when they opened and after graduating with her degree from PSU, Becca began teaching there too. Hip-Hop has always been her favorite genre and she loves that she gets to teach both new and returning dancers!

Alejandra Ramirez-Ortiz

Alejandra Ramirez-Ortiz started her formal ballet training at the age of eight in Durango, Mexico, under the supervision of Raúl Santillán, former dancer of the Mexican National Ballet. From 1986 to 1991, she periodically received training from the National School of Dance in Mexico City. Alejandra moved to France the same year, where she attended Rosella Hightower’s school of dance in Cannes. In 2003, she moved to the US where she trained and collaborated with Andrei Ustinov and Elena Martinson, former star dancers of the Kirov ballet.
